Fiona Howard’s passion for pattern and colour, coupled with 20 years designing freelance for the textile industry have been the driving force behind ‘FiFi’.
Since leaving Middlesex University in 1987 she has successfully designed textiles for companies including : John Lewis, Sandersons, Pierre Frey, Habitat, Canovas, Borderline and Harlequin.
She has lived in London, Cape Town and Brighton, and found inspiration on trips to India, Marrakech, Istanbul, Paris, Cornwall and friends’ gardens.
With this wealth of experience, Fiona has created her own fresh and unique style, which in October 2007 inspired the conception of ‘FiFi’ the first collection under her own name.
Based on lino cut designs, crafted by hand in her Brighton studio, and printed in simple, stylish, contemporary colours, she has sourced products which are a pleasure to use and will remain timeless favourites; bone china mugs complement Swedish birchwood trays and linen union fabrics.
